Michael Tutelian began his professional journey in Fresno, California, where construction was part of his early environment. Working alongside his father gave him practical exposure to the building industry and helped establish the foundation for a career in real estate development. That early experience would eventually evolve into a sophisticated approach combining construction knowledge, strategic planning, and community priorities.

Before launching Tutelian Real Estate, LLC, Tutelian spent ten years as Vice President of Real Estate Development & Construction at Hackman Capital Partners. His responsibilities covered acquisitions, entitlements, design coordination, and construction execution across a portfolio valued at more than $10 billion. His professional experience included developments associated with major organizations such as Apple, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Beyond Meat, exposing him to highly different technical, regulatory, and operational requirements.

That diverse background became especially valuable when Tutelian returned his attention to projects in Fresno. Developments such as Villagio and Park Place Retail Shopping Center reflected an approach focused on more than financial performance. The projects were intended to contribute to neighborhood revitalization and connect economic development with broader community benefits. The Grand 1401 expanded that strategy by bringing residential, retail, and recreational components together within a mixed-use environment.

A defining element of Michael Tutelian‘s professional approach is his construction expertise. As a licensed California General B Contractor, he maintains a direct understanding of field operations rather than relying exclusively on executive-level oversight. His regular involvement with project sites allows him to communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and contractors while addressing challenges close to where they occur. His professional philosophy also extends beyond buildings. Tutelian supports initiatives involving homelessness, healthcare, education, and ALS research. Together, his development experience and community involvement illustrate a leadership model built around practical expertise, long-term thinking, and a commitment to creating lasting value.
